AI Automation
Build automations that save time using AI, APIs, and structured process flows.
AI automation is the practice of connecting a model to the work that already happens in your tools — spreadsheets, calendars, forms, and APIs — so repetitive steps run without you copying every result by hand. This path takes you from a first automated sheet to workflows, product APIs, and the dashboards that keep those runs honest.
You do not need to ship a full platform on day one. Start with a process you already repeat, then add structure, APIs, and operating checks as the work gets more serious.
What you will learn
Connect everyday tools
Put AI into spreadsheets, forms, and calendars so cleanup, drafting, and follow-up stop being a daily copy-paste job.
Design a process flow
Define the trigger, the inputs, the model step, and the handoff so a workflow can run the same way tomorrow.
Ship API workflows
Call real model APIs with structure, retries, and cost control — then watch quality and usage on a dashboard.
How the path is sequenced
Take the courses in this order if automation is new. Skip ahead if you already run a workflow or call an API every week.
- Automate work you already do — sheets, daily routines, and forms that eat the same hour every week.
- Standardize the workflow — a personal system, then a team assistant that follows your process.
- Connect models to products — APIs, structured outputs, and features that live outside a chat window.
- Operate the run — dashboards, production deployment, and a plan leadership can fund.

What a working automation includes
A clever prompt in a chat window is not an automation. Across this path you will practice putting these parts in writing:
- Trigger — what starts the run: a new row, a form submit, a schedule, or an API call.
- Inputs — the fields, files, or context the model needs, and nothing it should not see.
- Model step — the job: classify, draft, extract, summarize, or decide the next action.
- Tools — the sheet, calendar, CRM, or API the result is written back to.
- Checks — what “done” looks like, and when a person should review before anything is sent.
- Handoff — where the output goes next, including a stop if the run is uncertain or unsafe.
Who this path is for
This sequence is a fit if you already move work between tools and want fewer manual steps. It suits operations, marketing, product, and support people who need process flows that run the same way every time — not a one-off chat.
If you are still learning how to write a clear prompt, start with the Prompt Engineering path. If the next step is agents that plan, use tools, and recover from mistakes, continue to AI Agents.
Begin with a spreadsheet you already use
The first course is $9. Automate one sheet, then move into workflows, APIs, and production-ready runs.
